Current implementation goals
- Semantic headings, landmarks, navigation, tables, lists, forms, and disclosure controls
- Keyboard access with visible focus and focus restoration for dialogs and mobile navigation
- Reflow at 320 CSS pixels and at high zoom without ordinary horizontal scrolling
- Light and automatic system dark themes with contrast-aware tokens
- Reduced-motion support and no essential animation
- Programmatic labels, instructions, error summary, and field-level error association
- Meaningful alternative text and hidden decorative graphics
- Text-searchable PDFs with HTML equivalents for public resources
PDF and download boundaries
Public PDFs are generated as searchable text and visually reviewed. They are not claimed as formally tagged PDF/UA documents. Equivalent HTML content is available for public resources and capability information.
Known limits
Automated and local browser testing cannot prove conformance for every assistive technology, browser, zoom combination, or generated document. Formal certification is not asserted.
Feedback and alternate formats
